Importers often plan an order around a container. This page gives volume-based planning estimates from the carton sizes on our spec sheets. They are for planning only: the actual loading plan, pallets and mixed models are confirmed when you place an order.
Carton data
| Series | Per carton | Carton size (cm) | Volume per carton | Carton weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dual-screen and CNC series (A60S, A57S, A20S, A67S, AC26S, AC29S, AC38S) | 6 sets | 49.5 x 34.5 x 52.5 | 0.090 m³ | about 18 kg (19.2 kg for the AC series) |
| B6 and B36 wooden-door locks | 10 sets | 60.5 x 30.2 x 31.6 | 0.058 m³ | about 19.2 kg |
| B7 handle lock | 10 sets | 58.4 x 35.3 x 42 | 0.087 m³ | Not listed |
Container capacity assumptions
We use typical nominal volumes of about 33 m³ for a 20ft container (20GP), 67 m³ for a 40ft container (40GP) and 76 m³ for a 40ft high-cube (40HQ). Cartons never fill a container completely, so the estimates below use 85 percent of the nominal volume. If you load on pallets, expect fewer cartons per container.
Planning estimates, floor-loaded cartons of a single model
| Series | 20GP | 40GP | 40HQ |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dual-screen and CNC series | 312 cartons, 1,872 sets | 635 cartons, 3,810 sets | 720 cartons, 4,320 sets |
| B6 and B36 | 485 cartons, 4,850 sets | 986 cartons, 9,860 sets | 1118 cartons, 11,180 sets |
| B7 | 323 cartons, 3,230 sets | 657 cartons, 6,570 sets | 746 cartons, 7,460 sets |
Weight check: 312 dual-screen cartons at 19.2 kg weigh about 6.0 tonnes, and 1118 B6/B36 cartons at 19.2 kg weigh about 21.5 tonnes. Always compare the total with the payload limit of the container and of your inland transport.
What changes the numbers
- Mixed models. Most orders combine several models, colours or languages. Each carton is single-model, so the total is the sum of cartons by volume.
- Pallets and stacking. Pallets protect the cartons and speed up unloading but reduce the count.
- Custom packaging. OEM boxes or gift packaging change the carton size. See OEM customisation.
- Shipping terms. LCL shipments of a few cartons are possible; the quotation states the options for your port.
Calculate your own order
Enter your quantities in the container loading calculator and get cartons, volume, weight and a container suggestion in one step.
How to use this in an order plan
- Pick the models and the number of sets per model.
- Divide by sets per carton to get cartons, and multiply by the carton volume.
- Compare the total volume and weight with the container options above.
- Send the plan to us and we will confirm the loading and the lead time in the quotation.

Frequently asked questions
Are these exact container loads?
No. They are volume-based planning estimates from carton sizes. The final loading depends on pallets, mixed models and packaging, and is confirmed in the quotation.
Do you ship less than a container?
LCL shipments are possible. Tell us your port and quantity and we will explain the options in the quotation.
Can carton sizes change with OEM packaging?
Yes. Custom boxes or gift packaging change the carton dimensions, so the loading estimate changes too.
