Buying smart door locks for resale, projects or installation is different from buying one for your own home. A wrong lock body or the wrong app platform turns a whole batch into slow-moving stock. These nine checks keep orders accurate.
1. Door type and thickness
Start with the door: wood, metal entrance, aluminium frame or glass. Each type uses a different lock body and thickness range. For example, our D3 smart deadbolt is designed for doors of 35-50 mm, while the B65S lists a door thickness of 40-120 mm. Record thickness in millimetres before you shortlist models.
2. Lock body compatibility
The mortise body inside the door edge decides whether a lock fits. Fully automatic and handle models usually use a 68 body, wooden-door locks use a 5050 body, aluminium-frame models use an 85 body, and deadbolts use a single-tongue body. Read our lock body compatibility guide and send a photo of the existing body when in doubt.
3. Unlock methods
Fingerprint, password and card cover most households. Face recognition suits premium projects and families who value hands-free entry, and palm vein recognition (for example on the HP-01) adds another biometric option. Keep a mechanical key for emergencies on every model.
4. App platform and connectivity
Tuya, TTLock and Matter are the platforms we offer. Pick the one that your end customers already use or that your market supports. Wi-Fi gives remote unlock and notifications; Bluetooth-only versions are cheaper to run but need the phone nearby. Our dual-screen series works over Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz.
5. Power and emergency access
Handle locks run on AA batteries, while dual-screen models use a 4200 mAh rechargeable battery with Type-C emergency power. Always confirm the emergency method: mechanical key, USB or Type-C power.
6. Security details
Look at the cylinder grade and the anti-pry design. In the Chinese grading system for lock cylinders (A, B, C), class C is the highest, and it is used on the B6, B36 and T6S. The 5050 wooden-door body is built to resist prying, pulling and sawing.
7. Language and localisation
An app and a lock that speak your customer’s language reduce returns. Supported versions offer up to 23 languages, and the English AI version supports Russian, Arabic, Portuguese and French voice on the dual-screen models.
8. Capacity
For multi-user homes and offices check user capacity. The dual-screen series stores 50 faces, 50 fingerprints, 200 cards and 200 passwords; the T6S supports up to 300 users.
9. Support, certificates and packaging
Ask for certificates, spare parts policy, OEM options and carton data. CE and RoHS certificates are available on request for our models, and cartons are packed 6 or 10 sets each depending on the series.

Frequently asked questions
What is the first thing to check when buying smart door locks in bulk?
The door type, thickness and the existing lock body. These decide which model physically fits.
Is Wi-Fi necessary for a smart lock?
No. Fingerprint, code and card unlock work without Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi adds remote unlock, notifications and temporary passwords through the app.
Do all smart locks support Russian?
Language support depends on the model and version. Basic versions offer up to 23 languages and the English AI version supports Russian voice on the dual-screen series.
