Smart lock projects rarely involve only wooden doors. Entrance doors are often steel or aluminium, and offices use glass. Here is how the families map to each door type.
Metal entrance doors
Steel and security doors usually carry a 68 style mortise body. The T6S lists anti-theft doors among its suitable doors, and the B65S lists wooden doors, anti-theft doors and iron or steel gates with a door thickness of 40-120 mm. The dual-screen series uses the 68 body with 6085, 6090 and 5072 rear-lock options.
Aluminium-frame doors
Aluminium and thermal-break doors have a narrow profile and often use an 85 body. Our price list includes an aluminium-door series with 85 bodies and models such as B33, B37, B38, B46 and B59F (with face and palm recognition). Send photos of the profile; the lock body decides everything.
Glass doors
Glass door locks clamp to the glass and need different hardware. The glass series includes T13, B13, B15, B16 and B17 and face-recognition versions T13F and B15F. Specify glass thickness and the door type (single or double).
Wooden doors
For comparison, wooden doors use the 5050 body on the B6 and B36.
